The ongoing protests in Iran continue to impact TWU students who have family, friends, and community connections in the area.
We recognize the mental and emotional stress of being separated from loved ones back home during this difficult time. Students have expressed their grave concerns, and we hear their pain and distress. Our hearts are broken for those who are affected. We value each of our Iranian students and continue to support them as they progress through their studies at TWU.
Trinity Western University grieves with its students, faculty, and staff at the tragic death of Mahsa Amini. Further loss of life through this escalating period of conflict is deeply concerning. TWU supports the dignity and security of all peoples. For our students and their loved ones, we desire that they may live and study in peace and safety.
Along with many in the global community, we are praying for peace in Iran.
