"[We] wish you a well-deserved Christmas break. You have made it through a truly unforgettable Fall. We are proud of you and impressed with your resilience and efforts to learn and grow despite the challenges of COVID-19."
— TWU President Dr. Mark Husbands and wife Becky Husbands
A Christmas greeting to the community from TWU President Dr. Mark Husbands together with wife Becky Husbands:
"Becky and I wish you a well-deserved Christmas break. You have made it through a truly unforgettable Fall. We are proud of you and impressed with your resilience and efforts to learn and grow despite the challenges of COVID-19.
Christmas break is a beautiful time to catch your breath, to rest, and to take time to reflect on the source of your most profound joy and hope. As the opening words of John's Gospel proclaims, Christ has come, and 'in him was life, and the life was the light of all people' (John 1:4).
Please join Becky and me in praying for the comfort of all students who are unable to return home this Christmas. Pray that our gracious and loving Father will give them His love and peace. Though distant from close friends and family, may they be given a profound sense of God's care and love."
Merry Christmas! As you settle into your Christmas break, we hope God will use this song by Joshua Leventhal and Brie King (TWU Alumna & Team Canada player) to grant you His love, grace, and peace.
