Trinity Western University and Stella Maris College in Chennai, India are co-hosting their 7th annual leadership conference to showcase their collaborative initiatives and engage in meaningful discussions on the topic of "Innovating Sustainable Leadership in areas of Health Care, Climate Change, Hybrid Education and Social Welfare."
The conference takes place at Stella Maris College in Chennai, India on Nov. 11 starting at 9:00 a.m. IST (Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. PST).
Dr. Sr. Rosy Joseph, Principal of Stella Maris College, will provide the welcoming remarks, while TWU President Mark Husbands will provide the inaugural address, followed by a keynote address by Dr. J. Amalorpavanathan of Madras Medical College.
Two TWU faculty members will be presenting virtually at the conference. Dr. Scott Macklin, interim dean of the School of the Arts, Media + Culture, will deliver a talk on "Convening Community through Story: Designing Digital Media and Visual Communication that Matters." Dr. Tina Wu of TWU GLOBAL will speak on "Envision the Future of Healthcare with Innovative Sustainable Leadership."
Dr. Phil Laird, vice provost of TWU GLOBAL, will moderate panel discussions with conference speakers. At a student session, Laurel Pope, TWU Fellow, will speak on the topic, "Sustainable Leadership and Social Welfare."
Stella Maris College in Chennai, India is an arts and sciences college for women, and it has an ongoing partnership with Trinity Western.
