Celebrating our journey as we advance forward together
TWU Community Day, held on August 23, 2021, was an annual event celebrating the people who contribute to furthering the University’s mission and vision—our staff and faculty.
This year’s event was accessible both in-person at the Langley campus, and online. The day’s events began with a Chapel worship gathering and communion service in the David E. Enarson Gymnasium. Staff and faculty were honoured and awarded for their service milestones.
Together, the community commemorated our journey together throughout 2020 and up until the present day, tracing the many sacrifices, adaptations, and innovations that the University community made, as well as celebrating the victories.
Following this, the University’s Executive Leadership Team served a barbecue lunch outdoors on the lawn in front of Reimer Student Centre. The afternoon included options for a variety of outdoor sports activities throughout campus, as well as board games at the Pavilion.
