TWU Parent and Family Network Welcomes New Families for Spring Semester Start

On Sunday, January 10, just before the official start of the Spring 2021 semester, new resident students arrived with their families to prepare for a fresh adventure. Janice Nikkel is Director of the TWU Parent and Family Network, and together with her team, they welcomed families one by one.

Nikkel personally greets parents and new students, and gifts them with a special mug. "When I hand parents their new mug from the Parent and Family Network, I always give them a 'call to action' that when they drink their coffee, (remember to) pray for Trinity and pray for their student!" she says.

One new TWU parent sent Nikkel a selfie with her new mug, as a show of gratitude. Another sent Nikkel a message: "Thank you Janice for the best welcome Emily could have received at TWU on her first day moving in on campus! Thank you also for being such an encouragement! I will use my mug often and be reminded to pray for Em and all the other students and you as well!"
