Young Women in Business Invites Alumni to Connect

Alumni Stories

AUTHOR: SARAH PATTERSON-COLE

Hello TWU Alumni,

Young Women in Business TWU (‘YWiB TWU’) is a new on-campus society which exists to equip women in Trinity Western University’s School of Business with the skills and connections to excel in their prospective business fields. These goals will be accomplished through various workshops and community events. The inaugural event for Young Women in Business TWU will be ‘Networking Unplugged,’ a networking event taking place at the end of this month. The purpose of this event is to connect TWU undergraduate students with business professionals in our local community through networking and relationship building. Being able to learn from established business professionals is an invaluable opportunity as students transition from their undergraduate studies into their professional career ventures. We are looking to have attendees representing all areas within business.

That being said, we would love to have you attend our event!

It will be taking place on October 29th at Trading Post Brewery located in Central Langley from 7:30-9PM. Please join us for an evening of food, drinks and community. This event is free of charge for those attending as a business professional. Please RSVP using our Eventbrite page. It will initially show a charge of $10 but please use the promo code “ALUMNI” and the fee will be waived. If you have any further questions regarding the mission, vision and goals of YWiB TWU, please do not hesitate to visit our website (ywibtwu.wixsite.com) or speak to any of our club members. We greatly appreciate your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Sarah Patterson-Cole
