Message from the Chair of the Board of Governors
In God’s providence Trinity Western University, from humble origins, has developed into a robust learning community impacting the globe. It is no wonder. Our driving passion is seeing that every graduate is equipped to think truthfully, act justly, and live faithfully for the good of the world and the glory of God.
We give thanks for TWU’s journey throughout its six decades, and we are particularly pleased with the University’s strategic plan, “TWU 2030: Every Graduate Equipped.” This plan to advance the University’s calling to be a Christ-centred, student-focused, innovative, and financially strong institution is the product of extensive community engagement. I am deeply grateful to the faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents, friends, and supporters who participated in the envisioning and planning of TWU’s strategic direction.
I speak for the entire Board of Governors when I say that while Trinity Western University has enjoyed an important history, our best years are in front of us. We have a world-class faculty, an extraordinary Executive Leadership Team, staff that are second-to-none, and a vibrant student body representing the globe. Most chiefly, we are rooted in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thus well positioned to keep bringing much good to His world and much glory to His name.
