This is a weekly group for students who deal with anxiety to make connections with others, learn coping skills, learn to understand anxiety and why it shows up. In these sessions, we will share our experiences, learn how to manage panic attacks, and how to better care for ourselves amid anxiety. There is no cost to attend and space is limited.

Runs Thursdays, October 10 - November 28 from 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm in The Well.

Please register by Tuesday, October 8

Client Policies & Procedures

Find more information about our services, their benefits, our commitment to confidentiality and other policies under our Frequently Asked Questions section.

In-person or video counselling services are available to TWU students living in Canada except those located in Alberta, Ontario (excluding LLC students), Quebec, Nova Scotia or New Brunswick as those provinces have different regulations.

We offer the same services to TWU employees as we have capacity and encourage you to inquire with us about options as well as our referral list.

We cannot offer remote services to students located outside of Canada but our web-based, peer service, TalkCampus is accessible worldwide 24/7 in multiple languages.

TWU Students pay a reduced fee for counselling as the university heavily subsidizes these services.

Sessions 1-6: $25/session with a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) or $20/session with a Graduate Student Intern.

Session 7+: $35/session with an RCC or $25/session with an Intern

TWU employees are charged $100 per counselling session; those eligible for TWU’s group health plan have access to coverage for counselling through Canada Life up to $300/year. Please check your employee Benefit Booklet for additional coverage details or reach out to your People & Culture representative for more information.

Additionally, all employees have access to free support and counselling through TELUS Health, which is offered 24/7/365 either virtually, online or in-person. Please use this link to access these services (Username: "TWU" | Password: "EFAP").
