Fall - Housing building & roommate offers are revealed for Apartments on April 1st, and Dorms on June 15th (or next business day). You can expect an email at that time and can accept your offer online via your student portal. Your room number and keys will be available when you arrive on move-in day.

"Must bring" item checklist:
- Bedding (twin size sheets, blankets/comforter, pillow)
- Towels and washcloths
- Personal toiletries (you may want a carry-case to hold such items), soap, laundry soap, and other cleaning supplies
"Optional" item checklist:
- Desk lamp
- Small pins, removable tape or mounting putty for hanging pictures/posters (tape, staples, nails etc. are not permitted)
- Hangers for the closet
- Iron (ironing boards are supplied)
- Toaster/Kettle (these items are only allowed in the kitchen area of dorms – they are NOT permitted in dorm rooms and will be removed if found. Best to wait before purchasing these items to see if your dorm already has one available for use. Maximum 1 kettle and 1 toaster per lounge area (to avoid electrical overload).
- Christmas lights (LED only)
- Bike (to be stored in secured bike storage), sports equipment, etc.
"Leave at home" item checklist:
- Furniture (all furniture is supplied)
- Live Christmas trees
- Appliances - they are NOT permitted in dorm rooms.
- Halogen lamps
- Racially offensive and/or sexually explicit posters/flags/apparel
- Alcohol, tobacco, or drugs, or paraphernalia, advertising, or apparel portraying such items.
- Firearms, weapons, fireworks, candles, burning incense, etc.
- Street signs, advertisements, or any other stolen public property
All students are provided with either a twin or twin bunk bed, drawers, desk, chair, wastebasket and wireless connection. Apartment residents are also provided with living room and dining room furniture. Living room furniture may be reconfigured, but it may not be removed from the room.
- Coin laundromats are available in your building (starting at $1.75 per load to wash and $1.75 to dry). A card will need to be purchased at the kiosk beside the Campus Store Cafe for $10.
- Study areas and lounges in every dorm.
- A refrigerator and microwave are easily accessible in every residence hall.
- Storage areas are available for various items, including boxes and luggage.
- Secured bicycle storage is available due to fire regulations not permitting bikes in any residence halls. Registration at Student Life is required.

Yes. Dining plans are required for all Resident Students.
We will be launching a new Dining Service to provide a variety of International Cuisines. In consultation with a dietitian and chef, the menu will be revamped in the Fall of 2024 to accommodate a more diverse population and dietary needs. In considering feedback from students, meals that are balanced and better meet dietary and nutritional needs will be provided. We have worked hard to keep the cost as low as possible while providing optimal quality and variety.
No, at this time we do not have a take-out option. Meals must be consumed in the main cafeteria.
Fall and Spring are one application. You apply for them together on your application and are assigned your room for both Fall and Spring Semesters.
If you plan to stay only for the Fall Semester, you have that option as well within your Housing application.
When your Resident Agreement expires, you will be required to move off campus. If eligible, you may apply for the next semester or an extended stay during the break between semesters. Otherwise, you will have to follow the check out process, notify your Resident Director and move off campus.
