As Canadians celebrate Black History Month, Dr. Imbenzi George of TWU MA Leadership program speaks with Black Buildup leaders at their round table discussion, “Significance of Black History Month: Views and perspectives from North America and Africa.”
Black Buildup works to provide "a holistic program to further the interest of black Canadians through advocacy, education and economic self-sufficiency."
According to their mission statement, the organization exists "to give all black Canadians and immigrants a voice, inspire and empower them to lead in all sectors and positively impact their communities and lives."
The Virtual Round Table event takes place online, February 27, 2021.
