Christmas greetings from President Mark Husbands:
At this time of the year, I am grateful for the many ways that our community expresses genuine care for one another.
In Luke 2:9–14, we encounter an angel appearing to shepherds, declaring: “I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” May you have great joy in the knowledge that Christ came for you.
Immediately following the revelation of the birth of the Messiah, a multitude of angels join in praise, singing: “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.” May each of us find great comfort in this song of praise.
The promise of peace, and the glory of God inspired the creation of the video which you’ll see below featuring our chapel team and several volunteers (including myself) as we sing Matt Maher’s “Glory (Let There Be Peace).” I hope you enjoy the video.
*Please note: This video was filmed on November 14, 2021 before current restrictions came into effect. Public health guidelines were followed.
I pray that you will be overwhelmed by the beauty and glory of Christ, and may you find hope and rest in the Prince of Peace.
Merry Christmas,
