Over 300 guests joined Preview Day this year to catch a first glimpse of life at TWU

Here are some reasons why this campus experience is so special

For many TWU students and alumni, the adventure began on Preview Day.

Preview Day is when many future students first step onto TWU’s Langley main campus. Preview Day lets a person enjoy a day in the life of a TWU student. Guests can attend a lecture, experience chapel and meet other students and faculty.

The next and final Preview Day of the Spring 2022 semester is on March 26.

TWU Preview Day

Students who live outside of the Lower Mainland and attend the March 26 Preview Day will receive a $500 CAD travel scholarship if they enroll in full-time studies for Fall 2022. The day will be filled with informative sessions and fun activities designed to help guests to experience TWU.

300 people experienced TWU

This year, over 300 undergraduate prospective students visited TWU and attended online Preview Day sessions from all over the world. In addition to TWU’s stellar Admissions team, 26 faculty and staff participated in making these events spectacular.

A note from a parent who attended Preview Day in February tells the story from a guest’s perspective. On the reasons why her son is wanting to come to TWU, she writes:

“I'm not sure what truly made the difference for him. It might have been the chance to connect with a group of peers who helped him realize he would ‘fit in’ with a few people, and not be a complete stranger to everyone, even though he'd be coming from out of province,” she expressed.

“It might have been the emphasis on God's calling and how TWU professors and staff engage intentionally with students to find out their God-given talents, passions, and interests, which combined with the skills required for a career, allow students to step into the workplace with confidence that they are making a difference in their world and for God's glory,” she continued.

“The small class sizes, educational assistance, and stellar teaching staff—often superior, not inferior to other universities' faculty—really made an impression.”

TWU is grateful for everyone who helped to make Preview Day a special experience for our guests, and we look forward to welcoming more families to TWU soon.
