Statement in response to events at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C

January 7, 2021, Langley, B.C. — In response to events that occurred at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. on January 6, 2021, TWU President Mark Husbands expresses:

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to families and individuals affected by yesterday's events at the U.S. Capitol. We are grieved by the violence and insurrection that occurred. We pray for peace and an orderly transition of power."
