Trinity Western University is pleased to announce the appointment of Adrienne Alford to the position of Executive Director, Human Resources.
Adrienne is a well-respected human resources professional with extensive experience in executive leadership at the local, regional and national level. Her recent roles include positions with Veterans Affairs Canada of the Government of Canada, as a project manager and Area Director for B.C. Mainland and Yukon Territory.
Following her 16-year career within the federal government, Adrienne worked in the healthcare sector as Executive Director of Arbutus Care Centre and as an HR consultant. Adrienne will be coming to TWU from her current role as Executive Director of The Village Langley, Canada’s first village-style community for persons living with dementia, which she was instrumental in building.
Adrienne holds a Chartered Professional of Human Resources (CPHR) designation. She has earned a Master of Arts in Leadership in Organizations and Work, an Executive Diploma in Leading Strategic Change, and a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Adrienne is the recipient of a National Leadership Award for Leading Employment Equity and Diversity, and two-time recipient of a National Leadership Award for Leading Change. Also, she has served as Co-Chair of the Gender Based Analysis Committee for the B.C. Federal Council.
