Before coming to Canada at the age of eight, Ken Shigematsu lived in Japan, England and New York.
During his sophomore and junior college years, Shigematsu also studied Business at Trinity Western University.
While living in Vancouver, Shigematsu had the opportunity to speak to a Sunday School class at Tenth Avenue Church during a Palm Sunday Service. Years later, he would return to Tenth and become their senior pastor.
Shigematsu is the author of God in My Everything and Survival Guide for the Soul. Recently he spoke to Jonathan Fehr, TWU Director of Digital Communications and Alumni Engagement, about how he found and pursued his life calling, and on experiencing mindfulness and meditation during uncertain times.
