Every year, Citizenship Awards are granted to two graduating students who have made outstanding contributions to the campus through their commendable citizenship, testimony, and overall positive impact on the spirit and wellbeing of the campus community.
Congratulations to this year’s Citizenship Awards recipients, Andrew Bouchard and Rachelle Vogel.
2023 Citizenship Award recipient Andrew Bouchard
Andrew Bouchard has taken up multiple campus leadership roles throughout his time at TWU. He was a Community Facilitator Assistant, an Admissions Ambassador, a TWU Student Association Director of Media, a TWU Student Association Vice President, and the 2022-23 TWU Student Association President. Further, Andrew has served as a constituent member of the Board of Governors, as a Board of Governors advisor, and as the student representative to the University Senate. Graduating with a degree in Business Administration with a certificate in Business Marketing, Andrew is planning on beginning a career in real estate.
2023 Citizenship Award recipient Rachelle Vogel
Rachelle Vogel has made many outstanding contributions as a campus leader. Serving in Community Life as a Residence Assistant for two years, Rachelle found joy in building community and inviting people into community. This led her to help organize campus events like Fort Week, Chapel, Sunday Night Alive, women's ministry, and preview weekends. With a passion for ministry and for creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, Rachelle served in Student Ministries, first as a Prayer Coordinator and then as a Discipleship Facilitator. Graduating with a major in Corporate Communications with a Psychology concentration and a Biblical studies minor, Rachelle is looking forward to a career in marketing and owning her own business.
The two 2023 Citizenship Awards winners were announced and celebrated at the Baccalaureate Service on April 28, part of Spring Graduation weekend events
