Trinity Western University's chamber choir contributed a recorded performance of O Canada for a special Remembrance Day ceremony, hosted by the City of Langley. The performance was directed by Cathrie Yuen, TWU Associate Conductor.
"In place of the traditional live ceremony, Langley City has produced, with the help of our community, a pre-recorded rendition of the Remembrance Day Ceremony that will be shared with our community on November 11, 2020 for you to watch from the safety of your own home," the City's website announced.
"On the eleventh day, of the eleventh month, at the eleventh hour each year, Canadians stand in Remembrance of all who have fallen in the military service of their country. While facing the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact of the current provincial public health order for gathering and events, the importance of this day needs to not be forgotten."
