TWU Expresses Gratitude for the Contributions of Paul Weme, Vice President, Philanthropy

Following his years of service at Trinity Western University, Paul Weme has resigned his position as Vice President of Philanthropy, as of the end of May.  After a long and successful career at TWU, Mr. Weme now feels his skills can be best used elsewhere for the glory of God.

Addressing Paul Weme’s contribution, President Mark Husbands notes: “Paul has been a blessing to Trinity Western University throughout his time here. He has worked tirelessly to help friends of the University learn about the remarkable work that God is doing in the lives of our students. Many valued friends and donors of the University have grown in their appreciation for TWU’s commitment to Christ through Paul’s care and friendship. Indeed, Paul’s concern for the Great Commission is a hallmark of his long-standing service to Trinity Western.”

Trinity Western is grateful for Mr. Weme’s considerable efforts and success in helping others to recognize the work of the kingdom of God here. Through his dedicated service, he encouraged faithful donors and friends to support key initiatives at TWU. Their generosity has provided for students who would not otherwise have had the opportunity to benefit from the Christ-centered education and formation that Trinity Western provides.

As a global Christian University, we know the importance of calling and stewardship. We are grateful for the many ways Mr. Weme used his gifts and talent for the glory of God, and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
