In the year since the WHO declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, governments and organizations around the world have sought new ways to collaborate and combine efforts in helping their communities face new challenges.
In B.C., Trinity Western participated in the City of Richmond's COVID-19 Community Task Force. The task force is comprised of expertise across society, including members of Parliament, members of the legislative assembly, as well as representatives from Richmond RCMP, Richmond Fire-Rescue, Tourism Richmond, and Chinese and English media.
Rebecca Swaim, Director of TWU Richmond, participated in the regular task force meetings that sought to bring synergy to Richmond's efforts in communicating and implementing public health measures.
