Student scholarships enable many more students to discover and grow in their life calling and purpose. This year, generous donors contributed $147,111 towards student scholarships as part of Trinity Western's second annual Day of Giving campaign.
The student scholarship fund pours into the entire TWU experience, and plays a key role in fulfilling the University's vision of equipping students for life.
During TWU's Day of Giving on March 15, students were invited to write notes of encouragement to the University's supporters. About 97% of TWU's undergraduate students receive financial aid, largely thanks to the generosity 27,000 donors from 62 countries.
"Thank you, dear donors, for giving us opportunities to become equipped to fulfill God's callings in our lives!" writes student Marko Zolotarov, "We all appreciate it!"
AJ Pryce, a student athlete writes, "Thank you for caring about creating powerful Christian leaders."
"Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Financial aid enables me to pursue a rich education in music in the most wonderful Christ-filled community," adds another student.
Some of the University's faithful donors also came to the Langley campus to participate in the Day of Giving. Donors attended Chapel alongside students and experienced the learning community that they have been generously supporting. It was a joy to welcome both donors and students at the Day of Giving.
