Weather Update | Classes on Monday December 6 will proceed as scheduled

Weather Update: Please note that classes will proceed as scheduled on Monday, December 6.

Upcoming class resumption

Please note that classes will proceed as scheduled on Monday, December 6, for Langley and Richmond campuses, under winter conditions.

TWU continues to follow the B.C. weather situation closely. We will provide further updates to our community as the need arises.

Winter safety

For those who commute, please be reminded to drive slowly and to reserve extra time for travels. Winter clothing including proper footwear is recommended. Please check Translink BC or Drive BC for updates on travel conditions. If you have any specific concerns, please reach out to your professor as we want to care for you.

Care for our student community

For those students who are directly impacted by the effects of extreme weather, including snow, storm, evacuation orders, flooding, and especially state(s) of emergency: If your situation is such that you are not able to attend class, this is fully understandable; your safety and well-being are paramount. In that case, please contact your professors directly, as you are able, regarding your specific situation. This will help professors to plan and respond accordingly with care and grace. We will continue to monitor the situation. Any updates will be noted on this site.

Please note that our B.C. campuses in Langley and Richmond are safe and fully operational; there is no immediate concern for campus residents, staff or faculty.

Class cancellation policy

The TWU homepage and bulletin line are the primary sources of information about class and/or exam cancellations in accordance with the University's Class Cancellation PolicyShould there be conflicting reports regarding class cancellations, the TWU website and bulletin are to be considered correct.
