Gwen Rempel, PhD, RN
Dr. Rempel is Chair, Graduate Programs in Health Sciences at Athabasca University, and previous to that was Associate Professor at University of Alberta. Gwen is well known to TWU, as she held the position of Assistant Professor in the TWU Department of Nursing from 1995 – 1999.
Dr. Rempel completed her PhD at University of Alberta in 2005, and her MSN at University of British Columbia in 1993. Her research program addresses pediatric cardiology and parenting. Her professional achievements have been recognized with several awards, including the 2019 College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta Award of Nursing Excellence – Research.
