Steven Hyun Wook Kim, MPS, MDiv

Sessional Assistant Professor of Leadership

Steven Kim grew up in Toronto, Ontario. After completing his B.A. at Western University in London, Ontario, he moved to Pasadena, California to acquire his M.Div. at Fuller Theological Seminary. After graduation he moved back to Canada and founded a local church in the greater Vancouver area. He served in that context for 18 years before stepping down from his role as the Senior Pastor. Steven also has a Master of Psychology at Work from Penn State University. He has also traveled extensively and in particular has established a Canadian registered charity in Africa that serves to mentor students to become transformational leaders (www.globaljoyfoundation.com). That charity also serves to sponsor select students with university tuition. Steven also works part-time as a consultant/coach, working primarily with leaders of various organizations (www.stevenhkim.org).

Steven is happily married to his wife of 25 years and is proud of his two adult children, Zachary and Isabelle.
