Men’s & Women’s Ministries
Large group ministries are one the ways you can engage discipleship with the broader campus. These ministries focus on addressing the important questions of identity and purpose in a campus wide context. What does it mean to be a community after God’s own heart? How can we pursue and embody this in our daily lives? These are the types of conversations that take place at The River and The Garden.
The Garden
Growth happens at the Garden. The Garden is a men's discipleship ministry that provides a place of connection, encouragement, and challenge for TWU students. Whether you are uncertain about the Christian way of life or are in a deep relationship with Jesus Christ, we welcome you to participate.
We host a relaxed atmosphere that facilitates a combination of worship, teaching, small group discussion, accountability and prayer. The Garden is also known for going on a few hikes in the beautiful mountains that surround campus.

The River
The River seeks to be a space where women discover more about The Beloved Father and what our belovedness in Him means. In this ministry we are longing for true relationships to be realized and formed among women on our campus where authenticity is honoured, doubts are dug into, and Christ’s Love and Truth that he offers to us is experienced and lived in freely.
Main events typically occur once a month and they include worship, a panel or speaker, a time of discussion, and prayer. They also host various one-off events such as a worship night or a women’s breakfast.
